In pursuance of the notification issued under letter No. GS/AIAIASP/38^th-AIC/2013-14 dated 31/12/2013, the 38^th All India Biennial Conference of Association was held at Ahmedabad on 7^th and 8^thFebruary, 2013. CHQ News - IP/ASP will carry out their normal duties during strike period.....resolution

Subject : Two days strike from 12/02/2014 to 13/02/2014 in Department of Posts.

Respected Madam,

The 38^th All India Conference of All India Association of Inspectors and Assistant Superintendents, Posts was held at Ahmedabad on 7^th and 8^th February 2014 and above subject was discussed in detail. After discussion, following resolution was passed unanimously by All India Conference.

“All India Conference unanimously resolve to inform Secretary (P) that during the proposed two day strike by the Service Unions on 12^th and 13^thFebruary, 2014, all our members will be carrying out their normal duties only and will not be performing any additional duties of any other cadre which would put us in a confronting position with the striking employees. The AIC also decided to request the Secretary (P) to give necessary directions to all the Chief PMGs to provide adequate security and facilities to all our members performing control room duties and also to those who are posted as strike officers”.

It is therefore requested to kindly take appropriate action in respect of above resolution immediately.

We hope that necessary instructions will be issued to all Circles in this regard.
