In pursuance of instructions contained in D.G. Posts, New Delhi letter No. 4-7/(MACP)/2009-PCC dated 18.9.2009 and on the recommendation of the Screening Committee, following IP/ASP line officials who have completed 20 years of service have been ordered to be placed to the next higher grade in PB-2 (pay band of Rs. 9300-34,800) with grade pay of Rs. 4600/- under MACP scheme with effect from the date indicated against their names:-

2. The financial up-gradation under MACP scheme shall be purely personal to the above officials and shall have no relevance to their seniority position.
3. The pay of the above officials on their placement in the next higher grade of pay will be fixed under the provision of FR 22 (I) (a) (i) as amended from time to time. The officials may exercise option for fixation of pay within one month from the date of issue of this memo if he desires to do so.
4. The placement of the above officials to next higher grade is subject to the condition that no disciplinary/vigilance case is pending/contemplated against the official.
5. The official against whom any punishment is current they should not be granted financial up-gradation to the next higher grade and such case should be intimated to the undersigned immediately.
