Under the provisions of Article 25 of the Constitution of All India Association of Inspectors and Assistant Superintendents Posts, it is hereby notified that 37th Biennial All India Conference of the Association will be held at Bangalore on 28.01.2012 and 29.01.2012.

1. Confirmation of the minutes of 36th the Biennial All India Conference of the Association held at New Delhi on 3rd and 4th April, 2010.
2. Approval of the Biennial Report of the CHQ for the period from 02.04.2010 to 26.01.2012.
3. Approval of audited accounts of the CHQ for the period from 02.04.2010 to 26.01.2012.
4. Subject matters for debate/discussion and decision thereon.
a. Up-gradation of Grade pay of Inspector Posts from Rs.4200/- to Rs.4600/- w.e.f. 01.01.2006
b. Restructuring of Inspector, Posts Cadre and second CRC.
c. CAT, Ernakulam Judgement dated 19.10.2011 in O.A. No.381/2010.
d. Regular promotion to PS Group ‘B’ Cadre.
e. PS Group ‘B’ and Sr. Postmaster examination
f. Provision of infrastructure to Sub Division.
g. Re-organization of Sub Divisions.
h. Supply of Laptops/Computers with Broad Band connection for all IPs/ASPs except Sub Divisional Heads

Proposal for merger of IP/ASP



GENERAL SECRETARY HAS INTIMATE THAT ALL CIRCLE ONCE AGAIN DISCUSS AND SEND OPINION OF THEIR CIRCLES TO THE CHQ FOR MERGER OF IP/ASP , SO THAT FINAL DECISION AT CHQ LEVEL COULD BE TAKEN AND CONVEYED TO THE DEPARTMENT AT THE EARLIEST BUT NOT LATER THAN 30.11.2011.

                    All Members are requested please visit our blogs dated 19.11.11 for  details of above issue and send their final decision on above issue at bhupendraparashar@gmail.com up to 28.11.11 so that Opinion of Rajasthan Circle can be send to CHQ.

Postal Assistant/Stg Assistant- Revised Recruitment Rules 2011

Department of Posts has notified Department of Posts ( Postal Assistants and Sorting Assistants) (Group-C Non-gazetted) Recruitment Rules, 2011. These have been published in Official Gazette on 3.11.2011. They come into force from the date of publication in Official Gazette.


For direct recruitment 10+2 or 12 Standard candidates with atleast 60% marks with English as compulsory subject [ excluding vocational stream], 55% for OBC and 45% for SC/ST will be eligible.

GDS should have obtained 50% marks in +2 or 12th standard with English as a Compulsory subject and should have put in minimum 5 years service.They should be within 30 years of age (35 years for those belonging to Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes and 33 years for other Backward Classes).
