    The Competent Authority is pleased to order adhoc promotion of the following Postal Assistants line officials to Inspector post cadre in the Pay Band of Rs. 9,300 – 34,800 + Grade pay of Rs. 4200/- on purely temporary and adhoc basis with effect from the date of assumption of charge and until further orders.

    On adhoc promotion the official is transferred/allotted/posted as under:-

    The above promotion to Inspector Post cadre is on adhoc basis and will not bestow upon the above officials any claim for regular appointment. The service rendered on adhoc basis will not count for the purpose of regular promotion to the higher grade or seniority in the said grade. The adhoc arrangement is liable to be terminated at any time without assigning any reason thereof. The adhoc arrangement for a period of 11 months from the date of joining or termination of the said arrangement before the said period which ever is earlier.
